ALAM KUH AND DAMAVAND TOUR - 11 DAYS
ALAM KUH AND DAMAVAND TOUR - 11 DAYS
About the tour
Alam Kuh and Damavand tour
EXPEDITION TO ALAM KUH and DAMAVAND is intended for all those who want to conquer the highest peak in Iran – 5,610 m above sea level, and acclimatize on the second peak of Iran – Alam Kuh – 4,850 m above sea level. Each trek lasts 4 days. The entire trip lasts 11 days (+1 day of flight to Iran). The expedition requires average physical condition because we enter the camp lightly. Some of the luggage is carried by horses. However, we invite active people to the expedition, for whom several hours of hiking and (even!) a dozen-hour-long summit attack on the highest mountain in Iran (over 1,400 meters up and over 1,400 meters down) will not be a problem.
The obstruction on the highest volcano in the Middle East is a stinking sulfur cloud floating around. The program of our trip includes a reserve day in case of bad weather. When you don’t need this day on the 5,000-meter peak, there will be time for an optional trip.
