DAMAVAND PLUS TOUR (SIGHTSEEING IN IRAN) - 15 DAYS

DAMAVAND PLUS TOUR (SIGHTSEEING IN IRAN) - 15 DAYS

About the tour

Damavand Plus

EXPEDITION to DAMAVAND PLUS is intended for all those who want to conquer the highest peak in Iran – 5,610 m above sea level and in the next few days see the most beautiful places in Iran – Isfahan, Shiraz, Persepolis, Qom, Kashan. The entire expedition lasts 14 days. We spend 12 full days in Iran and only in the mountains 5 days . Damavand Plus tour requires average fitness because we enter the camp lightly. Some of the luggage is carried by horses. However, we invite active people to the expedition, for whom several hours of hiking and (even!) a summit attack lasting several hours (over 1,400 meters up and over 1,400 meters down) will not be a problem.

The difficulty on this volcano is the stinking sulfur cloud. On each date of our trips to Damavand, a reserve day is planned in case of bad weather. If we do not use this day on the 5,000-meter peak, there will be time for an optional trip.

A cultural tour around cities does not require physical fitness 🙂 only adaptation to the rules in this country, e.g. in clothing. On the trip we travel in a private minivan. We will see such famous and undoubtedly beautiful places as: Golestan Garden, Imam Mosque, Ali Kapu Palace, Hefez’s Tomb and Park and many other monuments.
